MTFA - Multi Time Frame Analysis - Moving AveragesThis indicator will help you make better informed trading decisions by showing higher time frame moving averages overlaid on a single chart. You can customise 4 moving averages.
Multitimeframe
MFTA - Multi Timeframe AnalysisThis indicator plots moving averages from higher timeframes for increasing the probability of a successful trade without using multiple charts for the same ticker.
You can configure the desired higher timeframe (i.e. if you are using a 1 min chart you can plot the 5 Min time frame moving averages).
SuperTrend Momentum TableMy goal creating this indicator : Provide a way to see the Past and Current Momentum of multiple different timeframes without using multiple charts.
The Underlying Concept / What is Momentum?
The Momentum shown is derived from a Mathematical Formula, SUPERTREND. When price closes above Supertrend Its bullish Momentum when its below Supertrend its Bearish Momentum. This indicator scans for bullish & bearish Momentum on the Timeframes selected by the user and when there is a shift in momentum on any of those time frames (price closes below or above SUPERTREND ) it notifies the trader with a color change on the Momentum Table.
Back Testing: This indicator will be key for back testing with the since the SuperTrend Momentum Table shows you the visual shift in momentum. Giving the Trader a Clear visual on how Each Support and Resistance Level was made .
Technical Inputs
- If you want to optimize the rate of signals to better fit your trading plan you would change the Factor input and ATR Length input. Increase factor and ATR Length to decrease the frequency of signals and decrease the Factor and ATR Length to increase the frequency of signals.
Quick TIP! : You can Sync all VFX SuperTrend Indicators together! All VFX SuperTrend indicators display unique information but its all derived from that same Momentum Formula. Keep the Factor input and ATR Length the same on other VFX SuperTrend indicators to have them operating on the same data.
Timeframe Inputs
- The indicator has 7 Time frame Displays where you can choose which Time Frames you would like to monitor.
- You can limit the amount of time frames being displayed by changing the Time Frame Amount
Display Inputs
- The trader can specify the bullish and bearish color of all 7 Timeframes
- You can toggle (on or off) the Momentum Switch if you want to highlight the exact candle where momentum switched from bullish to bearish and from bearish to bullish .
How it can be Used ? Check the momentum of other Timeframes and use that information as a variable to structure your trading plan.
- Use Momentum information to track the trend
- Plan and limit trades based on the current Momentum of multiple timeframes
- See if you have higher momentum to fuel your trades
- See breakouts on Multiple Time Frames
Crypto Portfolio ManagementCrypto Portfolio Management
This is an indicator not like the other ones that you regularly see in tradingview. The main difference is that this indicator does not plot a value for each candle bar like you would see with RSI or MACD. Actually it is table and it just uses tradingview great database of assets to plot some valuebale information that can not be found elsewhere easily. These metrics are some basic one that is used by portfolio managers to decide what they want to hold in their portfolio. The basic idea is that you should hold assets in your basket that are less correlated to the benchmark.
Benchmark in traditional context refers to main market indices like S&P 500 of US market. But they already have a lot of tools available. My effort was for crypto investors who are trying to rebalance their portfolio every month or week to have some good metrics to make decision. Because of this I used Bitcoin as crypto market benchmark. So, everything is compared to bitcoin in this script. I’m gonna explain the terms that is used in the table’s columns below.
MAKE SURE YOU PUT YOUR CHART AT DAILY AND AT THE MAXIMUM AVAILABLE DATA EXCHANGE.
Y-Exp
This is yearly expected return of the asset. It is simply the mean of the yearly returns of the asset. (these calculations are not typical in Tradingview because mainly we calculate on each bar and give value at the same bar but here this value to change once a year). Remember that the higher this value is the better it is because historically the asset have shown good returns but there is a tip: Always check the available historical data in any asset that you are adding if you add an asset that has only 1 year of data available or you use an exchange data that recently added the coin you will get unsignificant results and the results can not be trusted. You should always selects coins and market (coins can be changed in setting) that have the largest data available.
Y-SDev
This is a little bit complicated than the previous. This is the standard deviation of the yearly returns. This is a classic measure of RISK in financial markets. The higher the value, the more risk is involved with the asset that you have added. If you added two assets that have same returns but different Standard deviations, the rational thinker should choose the asset with lower Standard deviation.
The standard deviation is a good place to start but there are some considerations to have -it is getting complicated and average user should not be involved with these terms and can ignore the next phrases- standard deviation and mean of the yearly returns are random variables, these variables have a theoretical probability density function and these functions are not gaussian normal distribution. Because of this in the professional usage these returns should be transformed to a normal distribution and have all these terms calculated there and then transform back to its own normal state and then be used for any serious investment decision. I think these calculations can be done on Tradingview but I need you support to do this in the form of like and share of my scripts and ideas.
M-Exp and M-SDev
These terms are like the previous ones but it is calculated on monthly returns. As it goes for yearly return, the monthly returns change once a monthly candle closes. So be patient to use this indicator.
I highly recommend not to make decisions on monthly data due to a lot of noise involved with this market but in long run it is ok. So go with yearly returns and wait at least for 3 years to see your results.
CorToBTC
Basically you want to buy something that is less correalted with the benchmark. this is the correlation of the asset to bitcoin.
Sharpe Ratio
This is one of the most used metric as a risk adjusted return measurment. you can google it for more information. The higher this value the better. remmeber with any invenstment it is important to understand risks associated with the assets that you are buying.
DownFromATH
This metric that I didn't see anywhere in the tradingview and is familiar in the platforms like coinmarketcap. this is a real calculation of precentage down from ATH (All Time High). it means how much percentage a coin is down from the maximum price that the asset has experienced until now.
***
Remember you can change all the asset except main asset. If you like this script to 500 I will update this continuously.
Mark LevelsMark Levels is marking liquidity pools by drawing lines on their pivots and labelling them so that you can instantly detect them on your realtime chart
It supports:
- marking previous and current day lows and highs
- marking previous and current week lows and highs
- marking previous and current month lows and highs
- marking equal lows and highs
technically it re-builds them on the last bar or as soon as new realtime bar is updated. it looks with 1k bars back to find higher timeframe ranges and find lows and highs there
Adjustments:
- changing the line style of the group
- changing the lines color and the labels on the groups
- currently pools are split on 2 groups Period Liquidity and Equal Pivots Liquidity.
1 minute crypto strategy (MTF ZigZag)Please read the following explanation and notes before using this strategy.
This strategy is based on pyramiding. It uses two trend indicators(zigzag) in two different timeframes. One can be used to identify trend in higher timeframe and the other can be used to identify trend in smaller time frame. You can change them according to your preference. The default timeframes are set the same so the strategy only opens the trades according to one timeframe (20min). You can change the timeframe of the trend indicators to any timeframe in the settings but first you should add that timeframe to your chart timeframe so you can see that timeframe in the settings.
The first timeframe is for lower timeframe trend identification and the second timeframe is for higher timeframe identification in the settings.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. This strategy works best with low cap high volatile Cryptos. It is riskier on big cap cryptos in long term since it takes longer for them to recover from a big drop.
2. This strategy works in any timeframe. The lower the TF the higher profit.
3. This strategy is LONG only (spot).
4. It is very important to run a deep backtest (for example 1 year) and change the settings accordingly on the cryptos you want to trade to see how it performs in longterm.
5. The default pyramiding value is 30 and 3.33% of the portfolio (100/30=3.33%) is used for each trade. It means the strategy opens maximum 30 trades before the TP is hit. If you change the pyramiding you should also change order size as well in order for the strategy to show the exact calculation (your portfolio amount percentage/pyramiding value=ordersize percentage). If you increase pyramiding value the strategy performs safer in long term.
6. The default TP is 1% and the default SL is 80%. You can change the settings according to the backtest on the coins you want to trade. But it is better not to increase the TP.
7. The indicators don't repaint.
8. Please make sure to backtest and fully understand the way this strategy works before using it.
SuperTrend Support & Resistance(My goal creating this indicator) : Provide a way to categorize and label key structures on multiple time frames so I can create a plan based on those observable facts.
The Underlying Concept / What is Momentum?
The Momentum shown is derived from a Mathematical Formula, SUPERTREND. When price closes above Supertrend Its bullish Momentum when its below Supertrend its Bearish Momentum. On the first bar bearish momentum is detected a resistance Level is made at the highest point of the previous bullish condition. On the first bar bullish momentum is detected a support Level is made at the lowest point of the previous bearish condition. As I become a better analyst I will find better techniques and this source code may become open-source, but as of now it remains protected. This indicator scans for bullish & bearish Momentum on the Timeframes selected by the user and when there is a shift in momentum on any of those time frames (price closes below or above SUPERTREND ) it notifies the trader with a Supply or Demand level with a unique color and Size to signify the severity of said level.
What is Severity?
Severity is How we differentiate the importance of different Highs and Lows. If Momentum is detected on a higher timeframe the Supply or Demand Level is updated. The Color and Size representing that higher timeframe will be shown. Demand and Supply Levels made by higher Timeframes are more SEVERE then a demand level made by a lower Timeframe.
Technical Inputs
- If you want to optimize the rate of signals to better fit your trading plan you would change the Factor input and ATR Length input. Increase factor and ATR Length to decrease the frequency of signals and decrease the Factor and ATR Length to increase the frequency of signals.
- to ensure the correct calculation of Support and Resistance levels change BAR_INDEX. BAR_INDEX creates a buffer at the start of the chart. For example: If you set BAR_INDEX to 300. The script will wait for 300 bars to elapse on the current chart before running. This allows the script more time to gather data. Which is needed in order for our dynamic lookback length to never return an error(Dynamic lookback length cant be negative or zero). The lower the timeframe the greater the amount of bars need. For Example if I open up a 30 sec chart I would enter 5000 as my BAR_INDEX since that will provide enough data to ensure the correct calculation of Support and Resistance levels.
Time Frame Inputs
- The indicator has 3 Time Frame Displays where you can choose how SEVERE You want the Supply and Demand Levels. For Example: 1min, 3min, 5min, 15 min Levels, 60 min levels Weekly Levels, etc.....The higher the Timeframe Selected the more SEVERE the Level.
- Use the Amount of time Frames input to increase or limit the amount of time frames that will be displayed onto the chart.
Display Inputs
- The toggle (Trend or Basic) option Lets the trend determine the colors of the Support and Resistance Levels or Basic where the color is strictly based on if its a high or a low ( Trend = HH,HL,LL,LH)
- Toggle options (Close) and (High & Low) creates Support and Resistance Levels using the Lowest close and Highest close or using the Lowest low and Highest high.
Toggle on both or toggle off both in order to use both these values when determining the trend of your chart. For Example this would mean (Price has to close higher then the highest high. Not only make a higher high or a
higher close) and the inverse (Price has to close lower then the lowest low. Not only make a lower low or a lower close)
How Trend Is being Determined ?
(Previous Supply Level > Current Supply Level ) if this statement is true then its s LH so the trend is bearish if this statement is false then its a HH so the trend is bullish
(Previous Demand Level > Current Demand Level ) if this statement is true then its a LL so the trend is bearish if this statement is false then its a HL so the trend is bullish
(Close > Current Supply Level ) if this statement is true technically price made a HH so the trend is bullish
(Close < Current Demand Level ) if this statement is true technically price made a LL so the trend is bearish
- Fully customize how you display and label Market Structure in specific timeframes. Line Length, Line Width, Line Style, Label Distance, Label Size, Label Background Size, and Background Color can all be customized.
- Lastly Is the Trend Chart. To Easily verify the current trend of any timeframes displayed by this indicator toggle on Chart On/Off . You also get the option to change the Chart Position and the size of the Trend Chart
*****The Current charts timeframe has to lower then a month to ensure correct calculation of Supply and Demand Levels*****
How it can be used ?
(Examples of Different ways you can use this indicator) : Easily categorize the severity of each and every Supply or Demand Level in the market (The higher the time frame the stronger the level)
: Quickly Determine the trend of any Timeframe
: Get a consistent view of a market and how different time frames are behaving but just use one chart.
: Take the discretion from hand drawing support and resistance lines out of your trading
: Find and categorize strong levels for potential breakouts
: Trend Analysis, Use multiple time frames to create a narrative based on observable facts from these time frames
: Different Targets to take money off the table
: Use labels to differentiate between different trend line setups
: Find Great places to move your stop loss too.
Lookback OHLCThis indicator displays x number of unit's of time's open, high, low, close. Default view is a weekly segment 1 unit back. There are many strategies you can deploy using this indicator. One of them is to look at how price acts around the "mid" line. It can get sticky around that area. If price rejects or passes through, there is a good chance of test of the "low" level.
*Resolution: basis for calculating open, high, low, and closing lines.
*Lookback Period 1: amount of time to look back. There is no limitation of number of period to lookback.
0 = calculate using current period
1 = calculate lines using data from previous resolution period (recommended default)
2 = calculate using data from 2 units of resolution previously.
*Line size: thickness of all the lines in the chart.
Previous week's CME closing line is displayed automatically on BTCUSD and BTCPERP charts. You can disable this on the setting's style menu.
Unraided Liquidity and S/R PivotsThis indicator is designed to show key pivot points, also known as levels, which could provide good trade entries.
Utilising liquidity concepts, untested pivot levels can be a good place to enter a trade after the pivot is tested, liquidity is taken and the direction reverses.
Alternatively, utilising the option of viewing already tested levels, you can easily see the key support and resistance areas that price is likely to have a strong reaction to, whether it wants to go toward or bounce away from these levels.
The indicator does not give buy and sell signals, it is up to you to use the levels to form your trading plan.
Oorah.
HTF Candles: 3x Multi-Timeframe Candle Boxes #Pip-Whisperer
- Modify 3 Timeframes to display Candle Boxes over your Chart
- Thats it.
- Enjoy!
- If anyone implements candlestick pattern detection to this before me, please send me link, that would be sick!
LevelsThe Levels indicator automatically draws important market pivots based on multiple timeframe value zones and pivotal trading areas. This information is displayed in front of the price, to keep things out of the way of your price action chart. All of these levels are fully customizable, for visual tranquility, and all values are available to set alerts on. Last but not least is an easy-to-read dialogue box so you know exactly where you are in the auction at a quick glance to save you time while analyzing charts.
Levels included:

QG-Relative Strength Rank MTF DSL
Relative strength rank is a momentum indicator based on combination of short and long term strength combined with ATR to adjust for current volatility.
The Multi timeframe version long with signals only above or below +1 and -1 provide quite reliable signals and entries for pullback levels.
The RSR signal has been smoothed with EMA.
Digital Nivesh: Trend TrackerThis indicator is nothing but combination of Magic Trend and Super trend written by KivancOzbilgic
So credit goes to him.
I have just added some extra functionality which are below:
1. Multi time frame, magic trends time frame can be different from supertrend by changing shortTimeFrame
2. Dynamic time frame, u can change supertrends time also
Best usage is to use Magic Trend on 1 lower time frame than supertrend.
eg. Suppose ur current chart is on 5 min time, ur supertrend will be displayed with current time on chart(which can be changed also using MTF Tradingview feature), u need to keep shorterTimeFrame on lower value such as 3min .
For any question , feel free to drop comment.
ArtiumPro Main Market StructureThis indicator maps out Market Structure using real time price action rather than simply pulling "pivot" points. Use to see at a glance where a BOS or CHoCH has occurred and where the current and historic highs and lows are.
- M-BOS happens when a main break of structure occurs (trend continuation) the continuation of a bullish or bearish trend.
User setting change line style, color and transparency & turn off text, change text color and transparency
- M-CHoCH happens when a Change of Character occurs (trend change) this is the 1st sign of a possible change of the trend direction from bullish to bearish or bearish to bullish
User setting change line style, color and transparency & turn off text, change text color and transparency
- M-swh & M-swl are the current active unmitigated highs and lows
- User setting for M-swh & M-swl allows you to chose the amount of active highs / lows you want to see on the chart. this can be used at a glace to see where potential liquidity may be laying. If you only want to see the last most current
high an low you can turn on the "just last active" option box.
- User settings to turn on or off the old mitigated highs lows making it easy to see at a glance when old highs and lows have been broken or swept. The label for this is also customizable to user preference.
Triple RSI strategyThis strategy is commonly used both in forex and stock markets for reversal trading. when the rsi line reaches and crosses simultaneously at 3 rsi setups i.e at 7, 14, and 21, a signal is generated.
This strategy works best in 1-hour timeframe. It provides over 60 to 80 percent accuracy in 1-hour timeframe.
In the stock market, this strategy provides an excellent entry point, if one is seeking small profits.
One can expect to make around 10 to 50 pips in the forex market easily. However, I advise seeking support from price action from the lower timeframe in the forex market.
I hope you like it.
Follow for more strategies and scripts like this.
Opens, Closes, Highs and Lows.Hello Traders, the script below is designed to display the monthly, weekly, previous days' and current days' open, close, high and low.
I designed it to assist in top down analysis by knowing the monthly and weekly opens and closes it makes it a lot easier to make trading decisions on the lower timeframes.
As the user you can choose which price values you'd like displayed on the chart by selecting them in the user inputs.
Enjoy!!
ICT FVG indicator [Focused Trader]This is simple fair value gap indicator. It draws FVG (fair value gaps) as boxes. If FVG is partially filled, it is also displayed and smaller size FVG is drawn. If FVG is filled totally, it is deleted from chart. There is limitation of 500 drawing objects for indicators on Tradingview, so keep in mind that this indicator will display only last 500 FVGs.
For simplicity, there is only one setting, which is coloring of FVGs. It is perhaps a good idea to lower your opacity (to about 10%) and choose color of FVG according to your preferences and current theme (dark or white).

SpaceTime TPOSpaceTime TPO Part of the SpaceTime Complete Suite
SpaceTime TPO Provides an modified codebased to remastered to display the TPO Calculations in a separate indicator with multiple new features, a separate release was necessary in order to maximise the usage of the draw history that can be provided.
Significantly improved from its predecessor Spacetime advanced, the display options used here are less resource heavy and therefore can display multiple profiles in comparison to the previous "high res lettering"
Full suite view:
The main additional advantage of this separate indicator comes in the form of Split TPO profiles ! This utilizes the tradingview display engine creating a whole new way to display data comparative to the candlestick method, doing so will help visualise the profile as it develops.
The Split profiles comes with a pro and con
Pro:
Split profile makes it easier to detect real price movement adjusted to tick
Also tracks the VA travel by history so it is easier to visualise value expansion!
Con:
Due to some limitation some data may occasionally be missed on very volatile candles
Fix:
Increase ticksize/Leave on wicks for candles to see these fluctuations
Update fix inbound: Will display the overflow in a dynamic way so no wicks are needed for all candles if this persists to be a problem
SpaceTime TPO also comes with the same advantages of multi session profile TPOs
Additionally comes with the ability to have a session line
Session Line tracking can continue with "Total" For full length of profile
And
"VA" for Value Area tracking
(or off)
Close tracking in the form of a square is available
Pending updates:
Split profile improvement
Close tracking improvement
Sonarlab - MTF Imbalance/ FVGAn imbalance is created when the order block creates such impulsive volume in the market that it throws off the equilibrium between buyers and sellers, forming a gap. This is referred to as imbalance or FVG. These gaps act as a magnet for price to retrace to, in order to correct the disturbance in market equilibrium.
Imbalances = FVG
This image above shows you how an imbalance is created in the market using 3 candles. As we all know, candle sticks represent a specific time-range - for example: 1H. This means that inside 1 candle stick, there are 60 1 minute candle sticks resting. What I'm trying to say with this is that you get a totally different picture when you are on the lower timeframes. An imbalance can be overlooked, so it can be very helpful to have the multiple timeframe Imbalances on your screen, so you understand what is actually going on in the bigger picture.
Usage
Focused on combining with SMC:
When trading SMC, Imbalances can be great for POI's (point of interests) or using as targets in the market. Imbalances work like magnets in the market. When the market is imbalanced, it mostly wants to balance those gaps and can sometimes react perfectly from the area's. Besides that, it can really give you an idea who is in control at that moment.
Here you can see an example of an Imbalance when on the 1H timeframe - in the next picture below you can see the exact same imbalance, but then on the 3M. Now you understand why it can be overlooked?
So, imbalances/ FVG's:
- Increase probability of certain Point of Interests
- Can be a sign of strong interest in price areas
- Can be used as targets
- Can be used as POI's
What makes this Imbalance indicator different?
The Sonarlab MTF Imbalance indicator makes it possible to show up to 3 higher timeframes, which makes it easier to do your analysis and spot these areas when trading.
MTF MACD BarOVERVIEW
This indicator shows MACD(Moving Average Convergence/Divergence) is up or down, represented by a bar. This indicator is compatible with MTF.
CONCEPTS
What do you want to know about market analysis?
Do you want a hard analysis? You can look for it.
All I want to know is whether the commonly known technical analysis is 'UP' or 'DOWN'.
All I want to know is whether the current market price is going up or down. Not only for the current, but also for the monthly, weekly, and daily status.
I want to make a decision in a moment. Without even thinking about it.
That is why I created a color-coded bar indicator to show the status.
No need to frown anymore.

TimeZoneThis is a script that marks the Time zone on the chart of the specified markets of Europe on the Local charts of your Indices and Stocks.
Multi Yield CurveAn inversion between the 2 year and 10 year US treasury yield generally means a recession within 2 years. But the yield curve has more to it than that. This script helps analysis of the current and past yield curve (not limited to US treasury) and is very configurable.
"A yield curve is a line that plots yields (interest rates) of bonds having equal credit quality but differing maturity dates. The slope of the yield curve gives an idea of future interest rate changes and economic activity." (Investopedia)
When the slope is upward (longer maturity bonds have a higher interest rate than shorter maturity bonds), it generally means the economy is doing well and is expanding. When the slope is downward it generally means that there is more downside risk in the future.
The more inverted the curve is, and the more the inversion moves to the front, the more market participants are hedging against downside risk in the future.
The script draws up to 4 moments of a yield curve, which makes it easy to compare the current yield curve with past yield curves. It also draws lines in red when that part of the curve is inverted.
The script draws the lines with proper length between maturity (which most scripts do not) in order to make it more representative of the real maturity duration. The width cannot be scaled because TradingView does not allow drawing based on pixels.
This script is the only free script at time of writing with proper lengths, showing multiple yield curves, and being able to show yield curves other than the US treasury.
█ CONFIGURATION
(The following can be configured by clicking "Settings" when the script is added to a chart)
By default the script is configured to show the US treasury (government bond) yields of all maturities, but it can be configured for any yield curve.
A ticker represents yield data for a specific maturity of a bond.
To configure different tickers, go to the "TICKERS" section. Tickers in this section must be ordered from low maturity to high maturity.
• Enable: draw the ticker on the chart.
• Ticker: ticker symbol on TradingView to fetch data for.
• Months: amount of months of bond maturity the ticker represents.
To configure general settings, go to the "GENERAL" section.
• Period: used for calculating how far back to look for data for past yield curve lines. See "Times back" further in this description for more info.
• Min spacing: minimum amount of spacing between labels. Depending on the size of the screen, value labels can overlap. This setting sets how much empty space there must be between labels.
• Value format: how the value at that part of the line should be written on the label. For example, 0.000 means the value will have 3 digits precision.
To configure line settings per yield curve, each has its own "LINE" section with the line number after it.
• Enable: whether to enable drawing of this line.
• Times back: how many times period to go back in time. When period is D, and times value is 2, the line will be of data from 2 days ago.
• Color: color of the line when not inverted.
• Style: style of the line. Possible values: sol, dsh, dot
• Inversion color: color of the line when the curve inverses between the two maturities at that part of the curve.
• Thickness: thickness of the line in pixels.
• Labels: whether to draw value labels above the line. By default, this is only enabled for the first line.
• Label text color: text color of value label.
• Label background color: background color of value label.
To configure the durations axis at the bottom of the chart, go to the "DURATIONS" section.
• Durations: whether to show maturity term duration labels below the chart.
• Offset: amount to offset durations label to be below chart.
