Market Structures Screener | Flux Charts💎 GENERAL OVERVIEW
Introducing our new Market Structures Screener! This screener can provide information about the latest market structures in up to 5 tickers. You can also customize the styling of the screener.
Features of the new Market Structures Screener :
Find Latest Market Structures Across 5 Tickers
Break Of Structure (BOS)
Change of Character (CHoCH)
Change of Character+ (CHoCH+)
Customizable Algoritm / Styling
📌 HOW DOES IT WORK ?
Sometimes specific market structures form and break as the market fills buy & sell orders. Formed Change of Character (CHoCH) and Break of Structure (BOS) often mean that market will change direction, and they can be spotted by inspecting low & high pivot points of the chart.
This screener then finds market structures across 5 different tickers, and shows the latest information about them.
🚩UNIQUENESS
Formed market structures can be strong hints about the current direction and the state of the market, and our screener has the ability to detect Change Of Character structures of the market with higher sensitivity (CHoCH+), so you will miss less hints. This screener will then show the elapsed time of the found BOS, CHoCH and CHoCH+ structures.
⚙️SETTINGS

Auto-magnifier / quantifytools- Overview
Auto-magnifier shows a lower timeframe view of candles and volume bars inside any main timeframe candle by zooming into it. Candles and volume bars as they develop are shown chronologically from left to right. By default, magnifier is triggered when less than 3 candles are visible on the chart.
By default, 20 lower timeframe candles are displayed by splitting main timeframe into 20 parts. The amount of candles displayed is a target rate, meaning the script will use a lower timeframe that has the closest match to 20 candles and therefore will vary a bit. Users can override automatic timeframe calculation and opt in to display any specific lower timeframe or adjust amount of candles shown (e.g. 20 -> 30 candles) per each main timeframe candle.
Example
Main timeframe set to 30 minute, candles displayed set to 20 -> Magnifying using 2 minute candles (30 minute/20 candles = 1.5 min, rounded to 2 min)
Main timeframe set to 30 minute, override set to 5 minutes -> Displaying 5 minute candles
Size of volume bars is calculated using relative volume (volume relative to volume SMA20), lowest bar representing relative volume values of under or equal to 1x the moving average and from there onwards progressively growing.
- Limitations and considerations
Amount of candles shown might flow over from the background on smaller screen sizes, in which case you would want to decrease the amount shown. Opposite is true for bigger screens, this value can be increased as more candles fit.
This indicator involves a lot of tricks with text elements to make it work automatically by zooming in. Size of wicks, bodies and volume bars are calculated by adding more text elements on big candles and less text elements on smaller candles. This means the displayed candles won't be a 100% match, but a rather a fair representation of the view, e.g. candle is green = lower timeframe candle is green, candle has a big wick = lower timeframe candle has a big wick (but not a 100% match).
Example
Magnified lower timeframe chart vs. Actual lower timeframe chart
Most mismatch will be found on the price levels where lower timeframe candles are shown, which is sacrificed for the sake of getting a better readability on the overall shape of lower timeframe price action. Users can alternatively optimize calculations for more accuracy, giving a better representation of the price levels where candles truly originated. This typically comes with the cost of worse readability however.
Example
Optimized for readability vs. Optimized for accuracy

ziksfx Structure - LiteInspired by the 'mentfx Structure' indicator created by Anton (mentfx) on TradingView, I have developed my own unique version of the market structure indicator, enhancing it with features that resonate with my personal trading style and offer additional insights into market behaviour.
In the spirit of Anton's original concept, my indicator incorporates the fundamental idea of "sells before buys" for bullish ranges and "buys before sells" for bearish ranges. This methodological approach is designed to mirror the activities of large market participants who typically offload positions before accumulating again in a bullish context, and accumulate before offloading in a bearish context.
The "ranges" displayed on the chart represent historical and updated highs and lows, reflecting the structural delivery of price across any timeframe. This approach assumes that in a bullish range, the market is likely to sustain upward momentum until it reaches a new high or experiences a significant "sell before buy" scenario, and conversely in a bearish range.
Key Enhancements and Features:
Immediate Break of Structure (BOS) Recognition: This feature promptly updates the high/low to the candle that triggers a BOS, providing a more agile response compared to the original mentfx Structure's approach of waiting for a swing high/low to set the range. This adaptation allows me for quicker adaptation to the market's unfolding narrative.
Market Stage Visualization: By seamlessly integrating with the structure tracking, my indicator presents the current 'Market Stage,' offering a clear stage of the current market's phase, which is crucial for informed trading decisions. The core methodology for determining market stages is derived from the foundational concepts established by mentfx.
Moving Average Integration: The inclusion of a Moving Average (MA) within the indicator adds a layer of trend confirmation, reinforcing decisions based on market structure with established trend analysis techniques. You can use EMA or SMA.
Customizable Session Settings: Tailor the indicator to focus on specific market hours, enhancing its utility for session-based trading strategies and backtesting efficiency.
Triple M: The Triple-M feature is also included in this indicator, which provides a visual representation of the market's momentum and potential reverse.
ATR: Utilizes the Average True Range (ATR) to estimate stop loss levels, providing a data-driven method to manage risk in accordance with current market volatility.
Watermark: Displays the name of the ticker and the current timeframe directly on the chart for easy reference, ensuring clarity and orientation when analyzing multiple instruments or timeframes.
How It Works:
When a range is assigned as being bullish, it will continue updating the high until a new high is created after the bos (= the new high of the range) and will not update or change until a candle's body, open's or close's above it - which will re-update the high and update the low. The low will be updated based on the last time price had a candle (open or closure) below a previous candle low, and then will find the lowest low after the rule was met to assign a low (the idea here is to locate the last major "sell before buy" and showcase that range. And this will occur vice versa, where: when a range is assigned as bearish, it will continue updating the low until a true low is created (=low of the range) and will not update or change until a candle's body, open's or close's below it - which will reupdate the low and update the high. The high will be updated based on the last time price had a candle (open or closure) above a previous candle high, and then will find the highest high after the rule was met to assign a high (once again, the idea being to locate the last major "buy before sell" and showcase price as existing in that range.)
A high is considered as a high that has a lower high to its left and to its right. And a low is considered as a low that has a higher low to its left and to its right. These high and low are used to determine the final high or low of a Bullish or Bearish range (respectively).
Range Determination: The indicator assesses the market momentum and assigns a Bullish or Bearish state based on the most recent directional break.
High/Low Rules Adaptation: In a Bullish range, indicator updates the high if a candle's body, not just the wick, exceeds the current high. This subtle yet significant change allows for a more conservative and potentially more accurate portrayal of bullish sentiment.
Dynamic Updating: As the market evolves, the indicator recalibrates the high and low lines based on the latest price movements, ensuring that you always have the most current and relevant data.
The indicator is not merely a trend-following or scalping tool. It leverages a distinct interpretation of market behavior, focusing on the last major "sell before buy" in Bullish ranges and "buy before sell" in Bearish ranges. By doing so, it aims to pinpoint the true sentiment behind price movements, offering traders a more grounded basis for anticipating market trends.
Of course, a special acknowledgment is due to Anton for his foundational work and the insightful knowledge he's giving day-by-day. The principles of his structure tracking method and market approach have significantly influenced the creation of this indicator, which now carries those insights forward, adapted through the lens of my personal trading philosophy.
Multi Time Frame Exponential Moving Average and dasboardThis Pine script, titled "Multi Time Frame Exponential Moving Average (MTF EMA)," provides an innovative approach for traders who wish to track trends across multiple timeframes without having to switch between different charts. It combines two main features: an indicator displaying exponential moving averages (EMA) on five different time periods, as well as a compact dashboard that synthesizes this information on a single chart window.
The originality of this script lies in its ability to provide a comprehensive analysis of EMA trends across different time intervals, allowing traders to quickly and clearly understand the market dynamics without having to navigate between multiple charts. Rather than switching from one chart to another to observe trends on different time scales, traders can now consult a single dashboard to obtain all the necessary information.
The script uses exponential moving averages (EMA) to identify trends over five time periods: 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, and 1 day. The values of the EMAs are calculated based on the closing prices of candles. Bullish or bearish trends are indicated by upward or downward arrows respectively, making it easy to interpret the information on the dashboard.
To use this script, traders can simply add it to their chart on the TradingView platform. They can customize the parameters of the exponential moving averages according to their preferences and choose between a dark or light theme for the dashboard. Then, they can observe trends on different time scales directly on the dashboard, enabling them to make informed trading decisions.
In summary, this script offers a practical and innovative solution for tracking trends across multiple timeframes, combining the efficiency of exponential moving averages with the convenience of a dashboard centralized on a single chart. This allows traders to save time and stay informed about market movements effectively and efficiently.

Liquidity Grab Screener | Flux Charts💎 GENERAL OVERVIEW
Introducing our new Liquidity Grab Screener! This screener can provide information about the latest liquidity grabs in up to 5 tickers. You can also customize the algorithm that finds the liquidity grabs and the styling of the screener.
Features of the new Liquidity Grab Screener :
Find Latest Liquidity Grabs Accross 5 Tickers
Price, Size, Status Information
Customizable Algoritm / Styling
📌 HOW DOES IT WORK ?
Liquidity grabs occur when one of the latest pivots has a false breakout. Then, if the wick to body ratio of the bar is higher than 0.5 (can be changed from the settings) a bubble is plotted.
The bubble size is determined by the wick to body ratio of the candle.
This screener then finds liquidity grabs accross 5 different tickers, and shows the latest information about them.
Price -> The price when the liquidity grab happened.
Size -> Size of the liquidity grab, determined by the wick-body ratio.
Status -> Shows the elapsed time of the liquidity grab.
🚩UNIQUENESS
Liquidity grabs can be useful when determining candles that have executed a lot of market orders, and planning your trades accordingly. This screener will find liquidity grabs from up to 5 tickers and give information about their price, size and status. The screener also lets you customize the pivot length and the wick-body ratio for liquidity grabs.
⚙️SETTINGS
1. Tickers
You can set up to 5 tickers for the screener to scan order blocks here. You can also enable / disable them and set their individual timeframes.
2. General Configuration
Pivot Length -> This setting determines the range of the pivots. This means a candle has to have the highest / lowest wick of the previous X bars and the next X bars to become a high / low pivot.
Wick-Body Ratio -> After a pivot has a false breakout, the wick-body ratio of the latest candle is tested. The resulting ratio must be higher than this setting for it to be considered as a liquidity grab.
MTF Trend Truth [Hubka]A Multi Time Frame Tend table that displays symbols trends for 6 selectable Time Intervals. In addition to the 6 first row color trends, the table also displays the direction of the last 2 candles in each Time Interval in the last 2 rows. This extra interval information displays price trend direction change or may add confluence if the price direction is the same.
The top row of the table has column header names described below:
(TL30) Column 1 - Trend Interval + The Trend Length selected (30 is default). Uses the last 30 candles to determine the trend for this interval. The length number is Editable.
(LCC) Column 2 - Last Closed Candle. This is the direction color of the second last candle on the chart.
(LOC) Column 3 - Last Open Candle. The is the current candle color direction of the last candle on the chart. This candle has not yet closed and will flicker as price changing state.
NOTE 1: (LOC) Column 3 - Last Open Candle - only displays correctly when the market is open and price is changing.
You can adjust the "Trend Length in Candles" which defaults to using the trend of the last 30 candles (TL30). Edit this setting to use any number from 5 to 99 candles back if you want display different trend lengths.
Having a visual table of the price trends from different time intervals can be beneficial to traders. For example... When observing that a symbol has many Bullish (green) price trends on several time intervals and the last 2 candles are also bullish it should afford a trader confluence to trade in that same bullish direction. However I am not a professional and do not offer any trading advice in any way. Use this indicator at your own risk.
NOTE 2: Time interval of 240 = 4 hours. Below 1 day number only is minutes.

Candle DecompositionThe Candle Decomposition indicator shows the last 2 candles in detail, with 2 levels of lower timeframes (LTF).
In this way, you can keep oversight of history, while zooming in on the last and previous candle.
This tool is meant to be used in realtime, preferentially for intraday usage.
🔶 USAGE
In this example, on the current timeframe of 15 minutes, you see the 2 latest candles, visualized through dotted lines/boxes.
The first LTF level is set at 5 minutes, the second level at 15 seconds:
(The 2 exclamation marks are just to emphasize this is the latest price which will be repainted)
The combination of 2 LTF's can be helpful in finding support/resistance levels.
These are taken in realtime, not in bar replay, so the outcome wasn't known in advance:
(blue lines were drawn manually)
After first testing resistance, the price went to the support area, bouncing back to an area of resistance and breaking it briefly.
Price turned back, and found support, after which resistance was tested once more:
Support was again tested, after which resistance was clearly broken:
A bit later (every time 1 candle further):
The following example shows 2 last candles with signs of indecision, but LTF candles show support and resistance areas:
🔶 IMPORTANT
PP = TradingView Premium / Professional Plan
BEP = TradingView Basic / Essential / Plus Plan
This publication uses second-based TF's, which is only available for PP users.
To ensure a smooth experience for BEP users, we have disabled the setting "Premium/Professional Plan" .
BEP users will get a warning when trying to use a second-based TF.
If possible, BEP users should use non-second-based TF's.
PP users have to enable the setting "Premium/Professional Plan" .
🔶 DETAILS
🔹 Timeframes
Most common timeframes can be used: 2W, W, 3D, 2D, D, 12h, 8h, 6h, 4h, 3h, 2h, 1h, 30min, 15min, 10min, 5min, 3min, 1min
When having the current chart timeframe at 1 of these TF's, you can set 1st and 2nd LTF. Choices are pré-set to ensure maximum usage of drawings:
In the image above you'll see there are gaps between candles.
The script ensures that when there are no trades, instead of attaching the next bar next to the previous, it leaves the gap visible (which is more realistic).
More in detail you can see the gaps are preserved:
(compared between white -current TF- candles, and LTF candles)
🔹 Limitations
When on a Weekly TF, and 2nd LTF is set at 4h, all drawings have enough space:
If we change the 2nd LTF to 2h, there isn't enough space for the second last candle, after which an orange coloured informational warning label will be shown:
When current chart TF is not 1 of the encoded TF's, a red warning text will be shown:
This script can be used using "Bar Replay", but very limited.
You can change the date ("Jump To..."), but "Play" is not advisable.
🔹 Code
This script uses string manipulation to convert inputs like "1 hour", "5 min", "5 sec" to usable timeframe strings like "60", "5" and "5S"
• str.contains(str , 'hour') ? str.tostring(str.tonumber(str.replace(str, ' hour', '')) * 60) : str
• str.replace(input.string( '5 sec', '' , options= ), " sec", "S")
• str.replace(str, " min", "")
Since string manipulation consumes resources, these are place in local blocks.
While inputs always will be extracted, whether it is put in an if-block or not, the string manipulation only will be executed when condition is fulfilled, in this case when we are at the right timeframe.
In following example you'll always see the '1 sec' input, on every TF, but the string manipulation will only happen when we are at a 1 minute TF:
str = ''
if timeframe.period == '1'
str := str.replace(input.string( '1 sec', '' , options= ), " sec", "S")
// output -> "5S" or "1S"
The "visible chart function" chart.right_visible_bar_time is used to reset everything when a new candle starts. This makes sure that when using "barstate.islastconfirmedhistory", the second last bar is used. Also all lines & boxes are automatically removed, starting with a fresh slate.
chT = timenow > chart.right_visible_bar_time
•••
if chT
if barstate.islastconfirmedhistory
f(4)
if barstate.islast
f(2)
If boxes/lines end up before the first bar, or after the last bar, this can be messy.
To protect ourselves against it 2 techniques are used:
math.max(0, x) is used to make sure lines & boxes don't end up before the first bar,
isOK = index < last_bar_index is used to be sure that the width of 1 candle (here index) is not wider than the total of all bars (which is the same as last_bar_index)
🔶 SETTINGS
3 columns:
Current TF: This columns shows you the chart TF where LTF settings are applicable.
1st LTF: set the timeframe of the first level LTF
2nd LTF: set the timeframe of the second level LTF
Colours can be set for 3 timeframes

Latest Status
Number Of Retests
Consumption Percent
Bullish & Bearish Volume
Customizable Algoritm / Styling
📌 HOW DOES IT WORK ?
A Fair Value Gap generally occur when there is an imbalance in the market. They can be detected by specific formations within the chart. This screener then finds Fair Value Gaps accross 5 different tickers, and shows the latest information about them.
Status ->
Far -> The current price is far away from the FVG.
Approaching ⬆️/⬇️ -> The current price is approaching the FVG, and the direction it's approaching from.
Inside -> The price is currently inside the FVG.
Retests -> Retest means the price tried to invalidate the FVG, but failed to do so. Here you can see how many times the price retested the FVG.
Consumed -> FVGs get consumed when a Close / Wick enters the FVG zone. For example, if the price hits the middle of the FVG zone, the zone is considered 50% consumed.
Bullish / Bearish Volume -> Bullish & Bearish volume of a FVG is calculated by analyzing the bars that formed it. For example in a bullish FVG, the bullish volume is the total volume of the first 2 bars forming the FVG, and the bearish volume is the volume of the 3rd bar that forms it.
🚩UNIQUENESS
This screener can detect latest Fair Value Gaps and give information about them for up to 5 tickers. This saves the user time by showing them all in a dashboard at the same time. The screener also uniquely shows information about the number of retests and the consumed percent of the FVG, as well as it's bullish & bearish volume. We believe that this extra information will help you spot reliable FVGs easier.

The high & low volume of order blocks should be taken into consideration while determining their strengths. The determination of the high & low volume of order blocks are similar to FVGs, in a bullish order block, the high volume is the last 2 bars' total volume, while the low volume is the oldest bar's volume. In a bearish order block scenerio, the low volume becomes the last 2 bars' total volume.
This screener then finds order blocks accross 5 different tickers, and shows the latest information about them.
Status ->
Far -> The current price is far away from the order block.
Approaching ⬆️/⬇️ -> The current price is approaching the order block, and the direction it's approaching from.
Inside -> The price is currently inside the order block.
Retests -> Retest means the price to invalidate the order block, but failed to do so. Here you can see how many times the price retested the order block.
For the bullish / bearish volume, check the "How Does It Work" section.
🚩UNIQUENESS
This screener can detect latest order blocks and give information about them for up to 5 tickers. This saves the user time by showing them all in a dashboard at the same time. The screener shows the number of the retests of the order block as an unique trait. Another unique ability of the screener is that it shows the latest valid order block's bullish and bearish volume in the dashboard.
⚙️SETTINGS
1. Tickers
You can set up to 5 tickers for the screener to scan order blocks here. You can also enable / disable them and set their individual timeframes.
2. General Configuration
Zone Invalidation -> Select between Wick & Close price for Order Block Invalidation.
Swing Length -> Swing length is used when finding order block formations. Smaller values will result in finding smaller order blocks.
Crypto Punk [Bot] (Zeiierman)█ Overview
The Crypto Punk (Zeiierman) is a trading strategy designed for the dynamic and volatile cryptocurrency market. It utilizes algorithms that incorporate price action analysis and principles inspired by Geometric Brownian Motion (GBM). The bot's core functionality revolves around analyzing differences in high and low prices over various timeframes, estimating drift (trend) and volatility, and applying this information to generate trading signals.
█ How to use the Crypto Punk Bot
Utilize the Crypto Punk Bot as a technical analysis tool to enhance your trading strategy. The signals generated by the bot can serve as a confirmation of your existing approach to entering and exiting the market. Additionally, the backtest report provided by the bot is a valuable resource for identifying the optimal settings for the specific market and timeframe you are trading in.
One method is to use the bot's signals to confirm entry points around key support and resistance levels.
█ Key Features
Let's explain how the core features work in the strategy.
⚪ Strategy Filter
The strategy filter plays a vital role in the entries and exits. By setting this filter, the bot can identify higher or lower price points at which to execute trades. Opting for higher values will make the bot target more long-term extreme points, resulting in fewer but potentially more significant signals. Conversely, lower values focus on short-term extreme points, offering more frequent signals focusing on immediate market movements.
How is it calculated?
This filter identifies significant price points within a specified dynamic range by applying linear regression to the absolute deviation of the range, smoothing out fluctuations, and determining the trend direction. The algorithm then normalizes the data and searches for extreme points.
⚪ External AI filter
The external AI filter allows traders to incorporate two external sources as signal filters. This feature is particularly useful for refining their signal accuracy with additional data inputs.
External sources can include any indicator applied to your TradingView chart that produces a plot as an output, such as a moving average, RSI, supertrend, MACD, etc. Traders can use these indicators of their choice to set filters for screening signals within the strategy.
This approach offers traders increased flexibility to select filters that align with their trading style. For instance, one trader might prefer to take trades when the price is above a moving average, while another might opt for trades when the MACD is below the MACD signal line. These external filters enable traders to choose options that best fit their trading strategies. See the example below. Note that the input sources for the External AI filter can be any indicator applied to the chart, and the input source per se does not make this strategy unique. The AI filter takes the selected input source and applies our function to it. So, if a trader selects RSI as an input filter, RSI is not unique, but how the source is computed within the AI functions is.
How is it calculated?
Once the external filters are selected and enabled within the settings panel, our AI function is applied to enhance the filter's ability to execute trades, even when the set conditions of the filter are not met. For instance, if a trader wants to take trades only when the price is above a moving average, the AI filter can actually execute trades even if the price is below the moving average.
The filter works by combining k-nearest Neighbors (KNN) with Geometric Brownian Motion (GBM) involves first using GBM to model the historical price trends of an asset, identifying patterns of drift and volatility. KNN is then applied to compare the current market conditions with historical instances, identifying the closest matches based on similar market behaviors. By examining the drift values of these nearest historical neighbors, KNN predicts the current trend's direction.
The AI adaptability value is a setting that determines how flexible the AI algorithm is when applying the external AI filter. Setting the adaptability to 10 indicates minimal adaptability, suggesting that the bot will strictly adhere to the set filter criteria. On the other hand, a higher adaptability value grants the algorithm more leeway to "think outside the box," allowing it to consider signals that may not strictly meet the filter criteria but are deemed viable trading opportunities by the AI.
█ Examples
In this example, the RSI is used to filter out signals when the RSI is below the smoothing line, indicating that prices are declining.
Note that the external filter is specifically designed to work with either 'LONG ONLY' or 'SHORT ONLY' modes; it does not apply when the bot is set to trade on 'BOTH' modes. For 'LONG ONLY' positions, the filter criteria are met when source 1 is greater than source 2 (source 1 >= source 2). Conversely, for 'SHORT ONLY' positions, the filter criteria require source 1 to be less than source 2 (source 1 <= source 2).
Examples of Filter Usage:
Long Signals: To receive long signals when the closing price is higher than a moving average, set Source 1 to the 'close' price and Source 2 to a moving average value. This setup ensures that signals are generated only when the closing price exceeds the moving average, indicating a potential upward trend.
█ Settings
⚪ Set Timeframe
Choosing the correct entry and exit timeframes is crucial for the bot's performance. The general guideline is to select a timeframe that is higher than the one currently displayed on the trading chart but still relatively close in duration. For instance, if trading on a 1-minute chart, setting the bot's Timeframe to 5 minutes is advisable.
⚪ Entry
Traders have the flexibility to configure the bot according to their trading strategy, allowing them to choose whether the bot should engage in long positions only, short positions only or both. This customization ensures that the bot aligns with the trader's market outlook and risk tolerance.
⚪ Pyramiding
Pyramiding functionality is available to enhance the bot's trading strategy. If the current position experiences a drawdown by a specified number of points, the bot is programmed to add new positions to the existing one, potentially capitalizing on lower prices to average down the entry cost. To utilize this feature, access the settings panel, navigate to 'Properties,' and look for 'Pyramiding' to specify the number of times the bot can re-enter the market (e.g., setting it to 2 allows for two additional entries).
⚪ Risk Management
The bot incorporates several risk management methods, including a regular stop loss, trailing stop, and risk-reward-based stop loss and exit strategies. These features assist traders in managing their risk.
Stop Loss
Trailing Stop
⚪ Trading on specific days
This feature allows trading on specific days by setting which days of the week the bot can execute trades on. It enables traders to tailor their strategies according to market behavior on particular days.
⚪ Alerts
Alerts can be set for entry, exit, and risk management. This feature allows traders to automate their trading strategy, ensuring timely actions are taken according to predefined criteria.
█ How is Crypto Punk calculated?
The Crypto Punk Bot is a trading bot that utilizes a combination of price action analysis and elements inspired by Geometric Brownian Motion (GBM) to generate buy and sell signals for cryptocurrencies. The bot focuses on analyzing the difference between high and low prices over various timeframes, alongside estimates of drift (trend) and volatility derived from GBM principles.
Timeframe Analysis for Price Action
The bot examines multiple timeframes (e.g., daily, weekly) to identify the range between the highest and lowest prices within each period. This range analysis helps in understanding market volatility and the potential for significant price movements. The algorithm calculates the trading range by applying maximum and minimum functions to the set of prices over your selected timeframe. It then subtracts these values to determine the range's width. This method offers a quantitative measure of the asset's price volatility for the specified period.
Estimating Drift (Trend)
The bot estimates the drift component, which reflects the underlying trend or expected return of the cryptocurrency. The algorithm does this by estimating the drift (trend) using Geometric Brownian Motion (GBM), which involves determining an asset's average rate of return over time, reflecting the asset's expected direction of movement.
Estimating Volatility
Volatility is estimated by calculating the standard deviation of the logarithmic returns of the cryptocurrency's price over the same timeframe used for the drift calculation. Geometric Brownian Motion (GBM) involves measuring the extent of variation or dispersion in the returns of an asset over time. In the context of GBM, volatility quantifies the degree to which the price of an asset is expected to fluctuate around its drift.
Combining Drift and Volatility for Signal Generation
The bot uses the calculated drift and volatility to understand the current market conditions. A higher drift coupled with manageable volatility may indicate a strong upward trend, suggesting a potential buy signal. Conversely, a low or negative drift with increasing volatility might suggest a weakening market, triggering a sell signal.

HTF CandlesHTF Candles Indicator (High Time Frame Candles for Low Time Frame Charts)
Overview:
This indicator plots High Time Frame (HTF) candle boxes on Lower Time Frame (LTF) charts. The purpose is to provide traders with a visual representation of (HTF) candlestick movements on a lower timeframe (LTF) within a specified interval.
Usage:
Traders can utilize this indicator to gain insights into HTF candle movements on LTF charts. It helps in identifying the range, direction, and bodies of candles from a higher timeframe perspective.
HTF Candle Box Formation:
The script identifies the start of a new interval on the HTF by monitoring changes in the specified timeframe (Interval).
For each new interval, it records key data points, including the open, high, low, and bar index.
The indicator then uses this information to draw a box on the LTF chart, encapsulating the HTF candle's high and low.
Candle Body Representation:
Users can choose to include the candle body in the box (BodyCandleBox).
If selected, the script draws an additional box representing the HTF candle body, from the open to the previous bar's close.
Color Customization:
Traders can customize box colors for long and short candles on the HTF.
Boxes can be transparent or filled with a specified color.
Multiple Timeframes:
The script supports multiple timeframes simultaneously, allowing traders to overlay HTF candle boxes from different intervals on the same chart.
Configurable options (Interval, Interval1, Interval2) provide flexibility in selecting additional timeframes.
Note:
Understanding the visual representation of HTF candles on LTF charts can aid traders in making more informed decisions, especially when considering the interplay between different timeframes.
Horizontal Lines from Current PriceThis indicator will help traders track price fluctuations in smaller time frames more conveniently than ever before.
Here's how it works:
Starting from the current price, the indicator will draw horizontal lines spaced 10% apart.

Triple MA HTF Indicator - Dynamic SmoothingThe indicator version of the "Triple MA HTF Strategy - Dynamic Smoothing" strategy script. In summary the indicator consist of 3 higher time frame moving averages. In which the highest timeframe is used for confirmation on the trend (filter). Moving average 1 and 2 are used to enter and exit the trade (crossover / crossunder). The main principle is to detect momentum when the faster MA 1 crosses the slower MA 2 and only trade with the trend (MA3). The dynamic smoothing in the code makes the indicator suitable to trade on lower tramecharts. The indicator script comes with the following features:
options for different types of MA.
options to choose from different timeframes & select # bars of that timeframe to calculate the MA value.
visualizations of the MA using Dynamic Smoothing calculations on lower timecharts. Note that the chart opened should be lower than the selected timeframes in the configurations.
Alerts for entry long, shorts and exits.
For more details on the script and possibility for backtesting the Triple MA HTF indicator I refer to my earlier published strategy script:
It's All MidsIt's All Mids extends mid-lines of a candle forward until the price revisits (covers) the midpoint. A higher timeframe can be used for the mid candles than the chart (but not the reverse). There is no data to support this is a meaningful concept.
While this script is intended to be functional, correct and useful it is important that you understand that not only is this the first script I've written but also that "I am an idiot."(tm) Using a stranger's indicator is questionable, but using a self-proclaimed idiot's indicator to trade real money is unquestionably stupid. Don't be like me. Be smart. You are responsible for what you do with this script. The source is unlocked, so feel free to copy and modify it.
Terms:
- A "mid" is the (high+low)/2 price of a previous candle that has not been auctioned since the candle close. All candles will initially have a mid unless they close on exactly their midpoint.
- A "covered" mid is a mid for which the midpoint has been auctioned since the candle closed. There is an option to display a number of these so that when a mid is hit the line doesn't just disappear from the chart and you forget what you were doing.
- A "low priority" mid is the mid of a candle which was auctioned in the previous candle(s) (chart's timeframe, not the mid's timeframe)-- chopchopchop. I have no data to show that this matters, or really, that anything matters at all.
My use: I chart a 60m mid on ES on a 5 or 15 minute chart. I am lying. I use it for something else but if I tell you that then I give away my incredible alpha that has made me so rich I can spend my time crying in corner about all the money I've lost.
Triple MA HTF strategy - Dynamic SmoothingThe triple MA strategy is a simple but effective method to trade the trend. The advantage of this script over the existing triple MA strategies is that the user can open a lower time frame chart and select higher time frame inputs for different MA types mainting the visibility on the chart. The dynamic smoothing code makes sure the HTF trendlines are not jagged, but a fluid line visiable on the lower time frame chart. The script comes with a MA crossover and crossunder strategy explained below.
Moving Averages (MA) Crossover for Entry:
Long Entry: A long entry signal is triggered when the moving average line 1 crosses above the moving average line 2. This crossover indicates a potential shift in market sentiment towards the upside. However, to validate this signal, the strategy checks if the moving average 3 on a higher time frame (eg. 4 hour) is in an upward trend. This additional filter ensures that the trade aligns with the prevailing trend on a broader time scale, increasing the probability of success.
Short Entry: Conversely, a short entry signal occurs when the moving average line 1 crosses below the moving average line 2. This crossover suggests a possible downturn in market momentum. However, for a short trade to be confirmed, the strategy verifies that the moving average 3 on the higher time frame is in a downward trend. This confirmation ensures that the trade is in harmony with the overarching market direction.
Exit from Long Position: The strategy triggers an exit signal from a long position when the moving average line 1 crosses below the moving average line 2. This crossover indicates a potential reversal in the market trend, prompting the trader to close their long position and take profits or minimize losses.
Exit from Short Position: Similarly, an exit signal from a short position occurs when the moving average line 1 crosses above the moving average line 2. This crossover suggests a potential shift in market sentiment towards the upside, prompting the trader to exit their short position and manage their risk accordingly.
Features of the script
This Triple MA Strategy is basically the HTF Trend Filter displayed 3 times on the chart. For more infomation on how the MA with dynamic smoothing is calculated I recommend reading the following script:
For risk management I included a simple script to opt for % of eauity or # of contracts of in the instrument. For explanation on how the risk management settings work I refer to my ealier published script:
The strategy is a simplified example for setting up an entry and exit logic based on multiple moving avarages. Hence the script is meant for educational purposes only.
