What is the difference between Crypto Сoins, DEX, and CEX Screeners?
We have a wide range of tools for crypto assets. Let's look at the main differences between the products:
Crypto Coins Screener
Crypto Coins Screener contains aggregated data on coins and tokens without reference to a specific market and exchange. Symbol data has a source CRYPTO.
The screener contains general information about the cryptocurrency: its capitalization, the number of issued coins in circulation, and the maximum emission. We calculate the price and price data as an average value collected from all supported exchanges.

The screener also contains indicators displaying the social sentiment for a specific crypto coin: the number of posts about the cryptocurrency, the number of unique users in social networks, and the percentage of dominance in social networks based on asset mentions.
For your trading strategy on specific exchanges, you can use our other 2 screeners:
- CEX pairs
- DEX pairs
CEX Screener
СEX Screener that contains traded spot pairs, futures, and perpetual contracts from all centralized exchanges available on TradingView.

The screener also offers a range of useful filters, including:
- Symbol type. Choose between spot pairs, futures, or perpetual contracts.
- Base currency and Quote currency. Select the primary and the second currency in the trading pair.
- Exchange. Filter by centralized trading platforms.
- Volume in USD 24h and Volume change % 24h. Assess liquidity and trading activity.
DEX Screener
DEX Screener contains pairs from decentralized exchanges. The main difference from the CEX Screener is that this screener filters by decentralized exchange networks (and tokens), token capitalization, pool liquidity, technical indicators, and various data on trading activity, namely the number of unique buyers and sellers, the number of buy and sell transactions, the volume of buy and sell transactions, and other onchain activity data by pools.

DEX Screener provides a vast amount of data, including:
- Liquidity. The total USD value of assets locked in a decentralized exchange pool. High liquidity ensures smooth trades with minimal price slippage, enhancing stability, trading conditions, and user trust.
- FDV (Fully diluted valuation). It estimates the total market capitalization of a cryptocurrency, considering both the currently issued tokens and those that will be issued in the future (e.g., through mining or staking). This metric helps assess potential inflation and its impact on asset prices.
- Trading volume, buy volume, and sell volume. These metrics reflect the trading activity within a specific pool with buy and sell volume forming the trading volume.
- Transactions, buys, and sells. Transactions refer to token buy or sell operations within a pool. Separate metrics for buys and sells provide deeper insights into price dynamics.
- Traders, unique buyers, and unique sellers. The traders metric tracks unique blockchain addresses that acted as buyers or sellers within a pool.
