Market GhostGhost Candles: Volume-Based Transparency Indicator
Before adding the indicator to the chart, hide the chart candles (the chart would get blank) otherwise no changes will be visible on your chart due to the display of the original candles (transparencies won't be visible because the full-opaque candles cover them)
This unique indicator dynamically adjusts the transparency of candles based on their volume relative to the past X candles. Candles with low volume become more transparent, while those with higher volume appear more opaque, creating a smooth gradient effect. This allows for a visual representation of market activity where low-volume candles "fade" into the background, making high-volume candles stand out more clearly.
Customizable Lookback Period: Adjust the lookback period (X candles) to suit your analysis.
Volume-Based Visualization: A smooth gradient of transparency helps to visualize volume strength relative to recent market activity.
Unique Aesthetic: Adds a unique, "ghostly" aesthetic to the chart, ideal for identifying volume trends without the clutter of traditional indicators.
This script is perfect for traders who want to visually highlight volume strength while maintaining a clean, easy-to-read chart.

Market Session Times and Volume [Market Spotter]Market Session Times and Volume
Market Session Times
Inputs
The inputs tab consists of timezone adjustment which would be the chosen timezone for the plotting of the market sessions based on the market timings.
Further it contains settings for each box to show/hide and change box colour and timings for Asian, London and New York Sessions.
How it works
The indicator primarily works by marking the session highs and lows for the chosen time in the inputs, each of the sessions can be input a custom time value which would plot the box. It helps to identify the important price levels and the trading range for each individual session.
The midpoint of each session is marked with a dashed line. The indicator also marks a developing session while it being formed as well to identify potential secondary levels.
Usage
It can be used to trade session breakouts, false breaks and also divide the daily movement into parts and identify possible patterns while trading.
2. Volumes
Inputs
The volume part has 2 inputs - Smoothing and Normalisation. The smoothing period can simply be used to take in charge volumes of last X bars and normalisation can be used for calculating relative volumes based on last Y bars.
How it works
The indicator takes into account the buy and sell volumes of last X bars and then displays that as a relative smoothed volume which helps to identify longer term build or distribution of volume. It plots the positive volume from 0 to 100 and negative volume from 0 to -100 which has been normalised. The colors identify gradual increase or decrease in volumes
Usage
It can also be used to trade volume spikes well and can identify potential market shifts

Breaks and Retests - Free990Strategy Description: "Breaks and Retests - Free990"
The "Breaks and Retests - Free990" strategy is based on identifying breakout and retest opportunities for potential entries in both long and short trades. The idea is to detect price breakouts above resistance levels or below support levels, and subsequently identify retests that confirm the breakout levels. The strategy offers an automated approach to enter trades after a breakout followed by a retest, which serves as a confirmation of trend continuation.
Key Components:
Support and Resistance Detection:
The strategy calculates pivot levels based on historical price movements to define support and resistance areas. A lookback range is used to determine these key levels.
Breakouts and Retests:
The system identifies when a breakout occurs above a resistance level or below a support level.
It then waits for a retest of the previously broken level as confirmation, which is often a better entry opportunity.
Trade Direction Selection:
Users can choose between "Long Only," "Short Only," or "Both" directions for trading based on their market view.
Stop Loss and Trailing Stop:
An initial stop loss is placed at a defined percentage away from the entry.
The trailing stop loss is activated after the position gains a specified percentage in profit.
Long Entry:
A long entry is triggered if the price breaks above a resistance level and subsequently retests that level successfully.
The entry condition checks if the breakout was confirmed and if a retest was valid.
The long entry is only executed if the user-selected direction is either "Long Only" or "Both."
Short Entry:
A short entry is triggered if the price breaks below a support level and subsequently retests that level.
The short entry is only executed if the user-selected direction is either "Short Only" or "Both."
sell_condition checks whether the support has been broken and whether the retest condition is valid.
An initial stop loss is placed when the trade is opened to limit the risk if the trade moves against the position.
The stop loss is calculated based on a user-defined percentage (stop_loss_percent) of the entry price.
pinescript
Copy code
stop_loss_price := strategy.position_avg_price * (1 - stop_loss_percent / 100)
For long positions, the stop loss is placed below the entry price.
For short positions, the stop loss is placed above the entry price.
Trailing Stop:
When a position achieves a certain profit threshold (profit_threshold_percent), the trailing stop mechanism is activated.
For long positions, the trailing stop follows the highest price reached, ensuring that some profit is locked in if the price reverses.
For short positions, the trailing stop follows the lowest price reached.
Code Logic for Trailing Stop:
Exit Execution:
The strategy exits the position when the price hits the calculated stop loss level.
This includes both the initial stop loss and the trailing stop that adjusts as the trade progresses.
Code Logic for Exit:
Summary:
Breaks and Retests - Free990 uses support and resistance levels to identify breakouts, followed by retests for confirmation.
Entry Points: Triggered when a breakout is confirmed and a retest occurs, for both long and short trades.
Exit Points:
Initial Stop Loss: Limits risk for both long and short trades.
Trailing Stop Loss: Locks in profits as the price moves in favor of the position.
This strategy aims to capture the momentum after breakouts and minimize losses through effective use of stop loss and trailing stops. It gives the flexibility of selecting trade direction and ensures trades are taken with confirmation through the retest, which helps to reduce false breakouts.

Dynamic Spot vs Perp Spread### **Description for TradingView Publication**
---
**Dynamic Spot vs Perp Spread**
(For USDT-Spot and USDT.P-Perp)
Summary of Usefulness:
This indicator is a valuable tool for traders who want to monitor and capitalize on the relationship between spot and perpetual futures (perp) prices. When the spot price exceeds the perp price, it's often a leading signal that the perp price will follow, creating potential trading opportunities. While this behavior doesn't happen every time, divergences between spot and perp prices can frequently signal significant market movements.
What it Does:
This indicator calculates and displays the price spread (percentage difference) between the spot price and perpetual futures (perp) price of a cryptocurrency asset. It dynamically adjusts to the instrument being viewed, ensuring that spot dominance (spot price higher) is plotted above the zero line and perp dominance (perp price higher) is plotted below the zero line. Additionally, the indicator accounts for symbols with multipliers (e.g., `1000SHIBUSDT.P`) to ensure accurate calculations.
Key features include:
- Automatic symbol detection and adjustment for Spot/Perp pairs.
- Dynamic handling of price multipliers for assets with prefixes like `1000`.
- Visualization of spread with a histogram and optional smoothing using an EMA (Exponential Moving Average).
- Configurable alerts for significant spread changes and spread flips.
- No repainting: the indicator uses the `barmerge.lookahead_off` setting to ensure stable, non-repainting values.
---
### **How to Use**
1. **Add the Indicator:**
- Search for "Dynamic Spot vs Perp Spread" in the TradingView Indicators library and add it to your chart.
2. **Understand the Visualization:**
- A positive spread (green histogram) indicates that the spot price is higher than the perp price (spot dominance).
- A negative spread (red histogram) indicates that the perp price is higher than the spot price (perp dominance).
3. **Customize Settings:**
- **EMA Length:** Use the input field to smooth the spread data over a chosen number of periods.
- **Alert Threshold:** Set a threshold to receive alerts when the spread exceeds a specific percentage.
4. **Receive Alerts:**
- Enable alerts for spread flips (when dominance shifts between spot and perp) or when the spread exceeds the defined threshold.
5. **Use Case Examples:**
- **Spot vs. Perp Arbitrage:** Traders can monitor significant deviations between spot and perp prices to identify potential arbitrage opportunities.
- **Market Sentiment Analysis:** Persistent spot dominance may indicate stronger buying interest in the spot market, while perp dominance may suggest futures market speculation.
---
### **Repainting Behavior**
This indicator **does not repaint** because it uses `barmerge.lookahead_off` for all calculations, ensuring that data from the comparison symbol (spot or perp) is locked to the currently completed candle. This means the values plotted and alerts triggered are reliable and do not change retrospectively.
Repainting occurs when an indicator uses future-looking or incomplete data for calculations. By design, this indicator avoids such practices, making it suitable for live trading and analysis.

Relative Strength vs SPX
This indicator calculates the ratio of the current chart's price to the S&P 500 Index (SPX), providing a measure of the stock's relative strength compared to the broader market.
Key Features:
Dynamic High/Low Detection: Highlights periods when the ratio makes a new high (green) or a new low (red) based on a user-defined lookback period.
Customizable Lookback: The lookback period for detecting highs and lows can be adjusted in the settings for tailored analysis.
Visual Overlay: The ratio is plotted in a separate pane, allowing easy comparison of relative strength trends.
This tool is useful for identifying stocks outperforming or underperforming the S&P 500 over specific timeframes.
High and Retracement Finder
This Pine Script indicator, titled "High and Retracement Finder," is designed to identify significant highs and lows on a price chart based on a user-defined starting point and retracement threshold. It begins analysis from a manually set bar index and tracks the highest high until the price retraces by a specified percentage (retracement threshold). Once this retracement occurs, it switches focus to finding the lowest low. If the price surpasses the previous high during this phase, the cycle resets, and the script resumes tracking a new highest high. The script visually marks these significant highs and lows with arrows on the chart, helping traders identify potential turning points or retracements in the market.
Candle Average PriceOverview
The Candle Average Price indicator is a custom tool designed to help traders identify key price levels by calculating and displaying the average price of recent candles on your TradingView chart. This indicator computes the average price based on a user-defined percentage of each candle's range over a specified number of candles. It then plots a horizontal line representing this average, covering only the last N candles as defined by you.
Key Features
Customizable Number of Candles: Define how many past candles to include in the average calculation.
Adjustable Percentage Level: Choose any percentage of each candle's range (from low to high) to calculate the price level.
Dynamic Horizontal Line: The indicator plots a horizontal line representing the calculated average, updating with each new bar and covering only the specified number of candles.
How It Works
Price at Specified Percentage:
For each candle, the indicator calculates a price level at your chosen percentage within the candle's range.
Formula: Price = Low + (Percentage Level / 100) * (High - Low)
Average Price Calculation:
It computes the average of these price levels over the last N candles.
Formula: Average Price = Sum of Price Levels over N Candles / N
Horizontal Line Plotting:
A horizontal line is drawn at the calculated average price level.
The line spans from N candles ago to the current candle, covering exactly the number of candles specified.
Input Parameters
Number of Candles (length):
Description: The number of recent candles over which the average is calculated.
Default Value: 4
Range: 1 to any positive integer.
Usage: Adjust this to include more or fewer candles in the calculation. A higher number smooths the average, while a lower number makes it more responsive to recent price changes.
Percentage Level (%):
Description: The percentage within each candle's range to calculate the price level.
Default Value: 50%
Range: 0% (candle low) to 100% (candle high).
Usage: Modify this to focus on different parts of each candle:
0%: Uses the low of each candle.
50%: Uses the midpoint of each candle.
100%: Uses the high of each candle.
Custom Percentage: Any value between 0% and 100% to target specific levels.

Abnormal volume [VG]🪙 INTRODUCTION
This technical indicator helps identify and highlight large volume clusters on the chart.
Abnormal volume refers to unusually large accumulations of volume over short time intervals. Such clusters appear when the amount of assets bought or sold significantly exceeds typical volumes for a specific asset over a given period. These patterns can indicate significant events or intentions of market participants.
Reasons for abnormal volume clusters:
Institutional investments :
Large investment funds and banks may buy or sell significant volumes of assets to rebalance their portfolios.
Impact of news and events :
Important news (e.g., mergers, bankruptcies, management changes) can trigger large-scale buying or selling of assets.
Market manipulation :
Big players may execute large trades to artificially create demand or supply for an asset, affecting its price in the short term.
Insider trading :
Abnormal volumes may signal that someone with insider information has started buying or selling assets in anticipation of future events that could impact the price.
What do abnormal volume clusters mean for traders?
A signal of potential price changes :
High trading volumes are often accompanied by sharp price movements. An increase in volume during price growth might indicate rising interest in the asset, while an increase during a decline could signal a sell-off.
Potential entry or exit points :
For short-term traders, abnormal trades can serve as signals to enter or exit positions. For example, a large volume growth accompanied by a breakout of a key level might be seen as a buy signal.
Caution due to potential manipulation :
Abnormal trades don’t always lead to expected outcomes. Sometimes, they are part of a price manipulation strategy, so it’s essential to consider the broader context and confirm with other signals.
🪙 USAGE
This indicator doesn’t provide trading signals, entry points, or actionable recommendations.
Instead, it simplifies tracking market dynamics and highlights unusual activity worth considering during analysis.
After adding the indicator to the chart, you only need to configure two parameters: the threshold value that determines what constitutes a significant volume cluster and the period over which volumes are aggregated for comparison against the threshold.
It’s recommended to use the shortest available period, as this helps more precisely identify the prevailing volume direction (since this depends on price changes, not trade direction).
The threshold value can be fine-tuned by switching the chart’s timeframe to match the selected period, observing of the significant volume increase on the classic volume histogram, and noting the corresponding market reactions. This allows for selecting a threshold that highlights early signs of impactful trading events on higher timeframes.
Let’s look at an example in the screenshot:
Once the parameters are set, you can also enable an alert to trigger whenever a new volume cluster appears, simplifying event tracking.
Note: in the current version of the indicator, the alert will be triggered only once per bar on the chart at the first detected cluster of abnormal volume.
🪙 IMPLEMENTATION
Technically, the script retrieves volume data from a lower timeframe and estimates whether the volume was primarily generated by buyers or sellers based on price movements.
The lower resolution timeframe is determined as follows:
if the settings base period is less than 1 minute, then the data timeframe will be equal to 1 second
if the settings base period is equals 1 minute or more, then the data timeframe will be equal to 1 minute
The algorithm checks whether the price increased or decreased at each point. If the price rose, the volume is presumed to be driven by buyers and marked as buy volume; otherwise, it’s marked as sell volume.
The total volume at each point is then checked against the user-defined threshold. If the volume exceeds the threshold, a corresponding circle is drawn on the chart, and an alert is generated if created.
The size of the visual representation is proportional to the most recent maximum volume and follows the rules below:
Percentage of max volume -> Volume cluster size
less than 25% -> Tiny
25% to 50% -> Small
50% to 75% -> Normal
75% to 100% -> Large
100% or more -> Huge
🪙 SETTINGS
The indicator is designed to be as simple and minimalist as possible, making configuration effortless. There are only two core parameters, with additional options to customize the colors of volume clusters based on their type.
Trade volume threshold
Defines the volume level above which a cluster is considered significant and displayed on the chart as a circle. The size of the circle depends on the proportion of the current volume relative to the most recent maximum over the chosen period.
Trades base period
Specifies the period for aggregating trade volumes to determine whether they qualify as abnormal. The significance level is set using the Trade volume threshold parameter.
Buy/Sell trades
Allows you to set the colors for abnormal volume circles based on the price direction during cluster formation.
🪙 CONCLUSION
Abnormal volume clusters are always a critical indicator requiring attention and analysis, but they are not a guaranteed predictor of trend changes.
TMA Bands TMA (Triangular Moving Average):
BTC vs Altcoin CorrelationThis Pine Script indicator calculates and visualizes the rolling correlation between Bitcoin (BTC) and a selected altcoin, while providing insights into the percentage of time the correlation remains above a user-defined threshold. Users can independently configure the correlation calculation period and the lookback period for measuring the percentage of time above the threshold. The correlation is displayed as a color-coded line: green when above the threshold and red otherwise, with a dashed horizontal line marking the threshold level. A dynamic table displays the current correlation value and the percentage of time spent above the threshold within the specified period, enabling quick evaluation of correlation dynamics between BTC and the chosen altcoin.
Trend Speed Analyzer (Zeiierman)█ Overview
The Trend Speed Analyzer by Zeiierman is designed to measure the strength and speed of market trends, providing traders with actionable insights into momentum dynamics. Consecutive Lower Highs/Higher Lows v1 [tradinggeniusberlin]This indicator counts the lower highs and higher low streaks. If the streak is above a certain threshold a buy or exit arrow is shown.
Idea:
The probability of a reversal is rising the more lower highs the asset had already because if mean reversion tendencies of asset prices. Especially in uptrend above the 20ma and/or 50ma.
How to use it:
In Uptrends, lower high streak of 3 or more, enter at first new high.
Candlestick Strength and Volatility ReadoutDisplays a readout on the top right corner of the screen displaying a two basic calculations (volatility and strength; i.e. candlestick size and how close to the highs or lows it closed) for more convenient candlestick (price action) analysis.
Due to restrictions with Pine Script (or my knowledge thereof) only the current and previous candlestick data is shown, rather than the one currently hovered over.
The data is derived via two simple calculations; volatility being division between the range of the candlestick's high and low by the ATR; 'strength' (what I like to call it) being the range of the body by the range of the open to high or low, depending on the facing direction (positive or negative candlestick). These are expressed as percentages and will turn green depending on the set threshold.
Using this, one can effectively automate calculations you'd have to do by hand otherwise. I personally use these as entry filters in my trading, so it helps to not have to measure, remeasure, and divide before each potential entry.
Settings are implemented to change certain variables to your liking.
Potential Upcoming Trend ToolThis Script has the specific use of identifying when and how a new trend may start to take form, rather than focusing on how a trend has already formed on a longer term basis.
This Script is useful on it's own and not in conjunction with another. It works by taking on the most recent price data rather than a long term historical string.
It differs from standard trend following indicators because it's use is far less historical, and more present. It requires less pivot points than normal to be validated as a strong trend.
It works by taking local pivot points and fractals to form its parallel basis. The Trend lines will continually move as more recent price action data appears and the the channel will get thinner, until it is clear a trend has arrived and consolidated.
The idea really is to see a constantly evolving picture of a sudden change in movement, allowing you to have an earlier eye on what is potentially to come.
The faint mid-point line gives a reasonable reading of where you would find yourself halfway within a new trend and will also move inline with the shown trendlines.
This allows you to easily track when sentiment and therefore trends are about to change. It's much more useful on lower timeframes because they will often give the first indication something is changing.
Colours are fully customisable.
RSI Difference (Fast and Slow)Introduction
Oscillators like the RSI are fundamental tools for identifying trends in financial markets. Their ability to measure price momentum allows traders to detect overbought, oversold levels, and divergences, anticipating trend changes. Are there ways to improve the use of traditional RSI? How can we obtain more detailed information about current trends? This indicator answers these questions by expanding the functionalities of the traditional RSI and offering an additional tool for analysis.
How does it work?
This indicator provides a framework for trend analysis based on the following setup:
Fast RSI
Slow RSI
SMA of the fast RSI
SMA of the slow RSI
Histogram
Custom Indicator Settings
My preferred configuration is based on the 13 and 55 moving averages. The rest of the setup is as follows:
I typically use the 13 and 55 moving averages to configure both the RSI and short- and long-term moving averages.
Interpretation and Signals: Including a Long-Period RSI
Including a long-period RSI helps identify key patterns in market behavior. Crossovers between the two can be used to establish entry patterns:
If the fast RSI crosses above the slow RSI, this could indicate a long-entry pattern.
If the fast RSI crosses below the slow RSI, this could indicate a short-entry pattern.
Interpretation and Signals: Including Moving Averages
Including moving averages for both the short- and long-period RSI can help identify the base trend of the movement and, consequently:
Avoid false signals.
Trade in favor of the trend.
A simple way to start working with these is to use the crossover of the moving averages to identify the current trend:
If the short-period SMA is above the long-period SMA, the trend is bullish.
If the short-period SMA is below the long-period SMA, the trend is bearish.
Interpretation and Signals: The Histogram
The histogram represents the difference between the moving averages. If the histogram is positive, the short average is above the long average. If the histogram is below zero, the short average is below the long average. Divergences with price provide signals of potential exhaustion in the movement, indicating a possible reversal.
Indicator Details
This indicator builds upon the traditional RSI by integrating additional features that enhance its utility for traders. Here’s how each component is calculated and how they contribute to the originality of the script:
Fast RSI and Slow RSI: The fast RSI is calculated using a shorter lookback period, allowing it to capture rapid changes in momentum. The slow RSI uses a longer period to smooth out fluctuations and provide a broader view of the trend. These two RSIs work together to identify significant momentum shifts.
SMA of RSI values: The simple moving averages (SMA) of the fast and slow RSI help filter out noise and provide clear crossover signals. The SMAs are calculated using standard formulas but applied to the RSI values rather than price data, which adds a layer of insight into momentum trends.
Histogram calculation: The histogram represents the difference between the SMA of the fast RSI and the SMA of the slow RSI. This value gives a visual representation of the convergence or divergence of momentum. When the histogram crosses zero, it signifies a potential shift in the underlying trend.
This indicator combines multiple layers of analysis: fast and slow momentum, trend confirmation through SMAs, and divergence detection via the histogram. This multi-dimensional approach provides traders with a more comprehensive tool for trend analysis and decision-making.
Conclusion
This article has explored how to use this indicator to identify trends, leverage entry patterns, and analyze divergences by combining the fast RSI, slow RSI, their moving averages, and a histogram. Additionally, I’ve detailed how I usually interpret this indicator:
Identifying RSI patterns to anticipate momentum changes.
Using SMAs to confirm base trends.
Leveraging the histogram to detect divergences and potential price reversals.

3 Drive Harmonic Pattern [TradingFinder] Three Drive Reversal🔵 Introduction
The Three Drive harmonic pattern closely resembles other price structures such as Wedge Pattern and Three Push Pattern, yet it stands out due to its precise use of Fibonacci ratios and symmetrical price movements.
This pattern comprises three consecutive and symmetrical price drives, each validated by key Fibonacci ratios (1.27 and 1.618), which help identify critical Potential Reversal Zones (PRZ).
Unlike the Wedge, which relies on converging trend lines and can indicate either continuation or reversal, and the Three Push, which lacks defined Fibonacci ratios and symmetry, the Three Drive pattern defines PRZ with greater accuracy, providing traders with high-probability trading opportunities.
This pattern appears in both bullish and bearish trends. After the completion of the third drive (Drive 3), it signals the market's readiness to reverse direction. The PRZ in this pattern serves as a crucial zone where price is highly likely to reverse, offering a strategic point for entering or exiting trades. Professional traders utilize the Three Drive pattern and PRZ as essential tools for analyzing and capitalizing on potential market reversals.
Bullish Pattern :
Bearish Pattern :
🔵 How to Use
The Three Drive harmonic pattern is an effective tool for identifying potential reversal points in the market. By utilizing Fibonacci extension levels (1.27 and 1.618) and focusing on the pattern’s symmetry, traders can pinpoint Potential Reversal Zones (PRZ) where the price is likely to change direction. This pattern works in both bearish and bullish scenarios, each with distinct characteristics and trading opportunities.
🟣 Bullish Three Drive Pattern
The bullish Three Drive pattern develops during a downtrend, indicating a potential reversal to the upside. Similar to its bearish counterpart, this pattern features three consecutive downward price movements (drives) with retracements in between. The third drive concludes within the PRZ, which serves as a strong support zone where the price is expected to reverse upwards.
The first drive begins with a downward movement, followed by a retracement to the 0.618 Fibonacci level. The second drive continues downward to reach a 1.27 or 1.618 Fibonacci extension of the retracement. Finally, the third drive aligns with the PRZ, where a confluence of Fibonacci levels creates a high-probability support zone.
In the PRZ, traders look for bullish confirmation signals such as bullish candlestick patterns (e.g., bullish engulfing or pin bars) or increasing trading volume. Once confirmation is observed, the PRZ becomes an ideal entry point for a buy position. Stop-loss orders are placed slightly below the PRZ to minimize risk, while take-profit targets are set at key resistance levels or Fibonacci retracement levels.
🟣 Bearish Three Drive Pattern
The bearish Three Drive pattern forms during an uptrend, signaling a potential reversal to the downside. This pattern consists of three consecutive upward price movements (drives) and intermediate retracements. Each drive aligns with Fibonacci extension levels, and the third drive ends within the PRZ, indicating a high probability of a bearish reversal.
In the first drive, the price moves upward and then retraces to approximately the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement level, forming the base for the second drive. The second drive then extends upward to the 1.27 or 1.618 Fibonacci extension of the preceding retracement. This process repeats for the third drive, which reaches the PRZ, typically defined by the convergence of Fibonacci levels from previous drives.
Once the PRZ is identified, traders look for confirmation signals such as bearish candlestick patterns (e.g., bearish engulfing or pin bars) or declining trading volume. If confirmation is present, the PRZ becomes an optimal zone for entering a sell position. Stop-loss levels are typically placed slightly above the PRZ to protect against pattern failure, and take-profit targets are set at key support levels or Fibonacci retracement levels of the overall structure.
🟣 Three Drive Vs Wedge Pattern Vs 3 Push pattern
The Three Drive, Wedge, and Three Push patterns are all used to identify potential price reversal points, but they differ significantly in structure and application. The Three Drive pattern is based on three consecutive and symmetrical price movements, validated by precise Fibonacci ratios (1.27 and 1.618), to define Potential Reversal Zones (PRZ).
In contrast, the Wedge pattern relies on converging trend lines and does not require Fibonacci ratios; it can act as either a reversal or continuation pattern. Meanwhile, the Three Push pattern shares similarities with Three Drive but lacks precise symmetry and Fibonacci-based validation.
Instead of a PRZ, Three Push focuses on identifying areas of support and resistance, often signaling weakening momentum in the current trend. Among these, the Three Drive pattern is more reliable for pinpointing high-probability reversal zones due to its strict Fibonacci-based and symmetrical structure.
🔵 Setting
🟣 Logical Setting
ZigZag Pivot Period : You can adjust the period so that the harmonic patterns are adjusted according to the pivot period you want. This factor is the most important parameter in pattern recognition.
Show Valid Format : If this parameter is on "On" mode, only patterns will be displayed that they have exact format and no noise can be seen in them. If "Off" is, the patterns displayed that maybe are noisy and do not exactly correspond to the original pattern.
Show Formation Last Pivot Confirm : if Turned on, you can see this ability of patterns when their last pivot is formed. If this feature is off, it will see the patterns as soon as they are formed. The advantage of this option being clear is less formation of fielded patterns, and it is accompanied by the latest pattern seeing and a sharp reduction in reward to risk.
Period of Formation Last Pivot : Using this parameter you can determine that the last pivot is based on Pivot period.
🟣 Genaral Setting
Show : Enter "On" to display the template and "Off" to not display the template.
Color : Enter the desired color to draw the pattern in this parameter.
LineWidth : You can enter the number 1 or numbers higher than one to adjust the thickness of the drawing lines. This number must be an integer and increases with increasing thickness.
LabelSize : You can adjust the size of the labels by using the "size.auto", "size.tiny", "size.smal", "size.normal", "size.large" or "size.huge" entries.
🟣 Alert Setting
Alert : On / Off
Message Frequency : This string parameter defines the announcement frequency. Choices include: "All" (activates the alert every time the function is called), "Once Per Bar" (activates the alert only on the first call within the bar), and "Once Per Bar Close" (the alert is activated only by a call at the last script execution of the real-time bar upon closing). The default setting is "Once per Bar".
Show Alert Time by Time Zone : The date, hour, and minute you receive in alert messages can be based on any time zone you choose. For example, if you want New York time, you should enter "UTC-4". This input is set to the time zone "UTC" by default.
🔵 Conclusion
The Three Drive pattern is a highly effective harmonic tool for identifying potential reversal points in the market. By leveraging its symmetrical structure and precise Fibonacci ratios (1.27 and 1.618), this pattern provides traders with clear entry and exit signals, enhancing the accuracy of their trades.
Whether in bullish or bearish scenarios, the identification of the Potential Reversal Zone (PRZ) serves as a critical aspect of this pattern, enabling traders to anticipate price movements with greater confidence.
Compared to similar patterns like Wedge and Three Push, the Three Drive pattern stands out for its stringent reliance on Fibonacci levels and symmetrical price movements, making it a more robust choice for forecasting reversals. However, as with any technical analysis tool, its effectiveness increases when combined with confirmation signals, such as candlestick patterns, volume analysis, and broader market context.
Mastering the Three Drive pattern requires practice and attention to detail, especially in accurately defining the PRZ and ensuring the pattern adheres to its criteria. Traders who consistently apply this pattern as part of a comprehensive trading strategy can capitalize on high-probability opportunities and improve their overall performance in the market.
