BIST Grid Strategy Guide for CoinFxPro Algo Grid Bot
This grid bot strategy creates grid ranges (manually or automatically) within a stock price range to be operated in the Borsa Istanbul Stock Market and carries out buying and selling transactions as the price moves in this grid range.
How does it work?
By dividing a price range determined by the user by the number of grids determined, the bot starts working and performs the first purchase transaction when the share price pullback or crosses between these grid levels.
When the bot is started with Pullback, it does not send bulk orders to the initially determined grid levels like other grid bots.
The created grid intervals are drawn on the chart and the levels touched by the price with live data can be followed on the chart.
Transaction options to take place between grid levels can be selected as Pullback or intersection.
- If it is selected as an intersection, it sends bulk purchase orders in the specified grid direction for the levels passed. It then continues by selling in each grid range as the price goes up.
- If it is selected as Pullback, it starts trading if the price retreats at the initial level, and in its subsequent transactions, it carries out buying or selling transactions at the grid price level that the price touches, again as a withdrawal.
If manual grid levels are not selected, the system automatically acts as if it started operations 10 bars behind. Therefore, you need to check whether the manual grid option is active or not.
It is recommended that you start the process with Backtest. Thus, it allows you to obtain more realistic results.

In addition to the above explanations, The purpose of this strategy is to divide the price range of a stock into equal grid intervals according to the Arithmetic or Geometric calculation method and to take it when the Stock Price touches these grid levels and to run it in the Borsa Istanbul stock market for Osmanlı Yatırım users who have the opportunity to trade on the Tradingview platform. It is designed to sell when it touches the grid level. This strategy is designed to be used in the Stock or Futures markets only for users of Osmanlı Yatırım, which is a Borsa Istanbul Brokerage Institution and allows trading on Tradingview, and works only on these accounts. While the user can choose a long or short position if they want to use it in futures transactions, only a long position should be selected in the spot stock market.
Strategy Working Principle;
This bot, prepared for Osmanlı Yatırım users that allows trading on Tradingview, is designed to buy at the grid price where the price touches the grid range created within the determined price range of a stock and to sell when it touches the upper grid price.
In this context, the script codes automatically transmit the buy or sell order to the Osmanlı Yatırım account via webhook when an alarm message is received from the strategy.
Order types and alarm messages have been prepared accordingly in the script and integrated to enable the transmission of orders with the Ottoman Investment account.
Alarm messages and orders have been tested many times and orders from the strategy are automatically transmitted to the Ottoman investment account and transactions are carried out.

Stop Loss Settings
• Stop Loss: Closes all open positions when the price breaks out of the specified range.
• Example PETKM Stop Loss Price Range: 19 TL - 24 TL
Profit Taking Method
• Simple Grid Spacing Change: Retrieves snow at the next grid level.
• Two Grid Intervals: Retrieves snow after two grid intervals.
Grid Beginner Level
• Intersection: It opens a position from the price level to the grid levels it passes through and takes profit when it reaches each grid profit level.
• Pullback: Opens a position if the price touches a certain grid level and pulls back, without a starting position.
Grid Levels
Grid levels can be adjusted automatically or manually by specifying the price range. Set the price range using the Manual Grid Levels tab.
Stop Loss Method
A stop loss method has been added that closes all trades if the price falls out of the specified price range.
Backtest

Integration with Ottoman Investment Account
Specify the information required to access your Osmanlı Yatırım account and transmit transactions on the interface screen. The strategy has been tested using an account size realistic for the average investor. Commission and slippage values are set realistically. Transactions are sized to take sustainable amounts of risk (Portfolio transaction risk is set to be in the range of 8-10% of capital. Maximum risk is set to 10% of capital).
More professional users can adjust these settings according to their own needs. However, it should not be forgotten that high transaction limits involve high risks.
A sufficient data set was selected to generate a sufficient number of transactions (more than 100 transactions). The default settings are described above and the same settings are used in the script description.
